Provide support to the team during breaks and absences and work together to ensure completion of their duties

Carry out work assignments issued by Lead engineer and maximize effectiveness of the shift at all times by ensuring efficient completion of tasks
Ensure remedial works to equipment raised by work order or PM's are highlighted to the Lead engineer

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Ensure the working environment, equipment, plant and people meet with legislative and internal health and safety standards at all times.

The Shift Manager will achieve results with his operational team while ensuring that all activities regarding the working environment, staff and the production operation are in conformance with internal and external standards.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Effectively manage the team and encourage team performance through open and effective communication. Deliver a weekly briefing to team, and produce daily and monthly management reports.
Ensure team organises materials (raw materials, packaging etc.) from warehouse and ensure teams are able to program and run the equipment and tools for each particular area
Verify and manage the overall attendance of Team (incl. labour usage against the standard) and inform Production Manager / Human resources daily of absences.
